Sturgis falls at home to Niles 61-21
(STURGIS) - Niles jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they beat host Sturgis 61-21 in Wolverine Conference action. Taner Patrick was 13 of 30 for 327 yards, 3 touchdowns and an interception. Rasean O’Tey had 5 receptions for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns. ...... {LISTEN}. Brenden Myers had a 1 yard TD run while Gibson Cary had 3 receptions for 31 yards and a score. Defensively, Cary and Brock Fergison each had 7 tackles for Sturgis while Myers had 6 stops. Sturgis is now 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the Wolverine Conference. Niles improves to 4-1 and 3-0 in the conference.
