No. 4 Mendon runs past Burr Oak 80-18
(MENDON) – Host Mendon started strong and never let up as the No. 4 Hornets beat Burr Oak 80-18 in Southern Michigan 8 Man Football League West Division match up. Mendon had 564 of total offense, with 367 coming on the ground. Jack McCaw has 12 carries for 138 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also had an 80 yard kick off return for a score, and was also 8 for 11 for 149 yards and a touchdown. JT Lux had 3 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown. He also had a 33 yard TD reception. Nic Stiver had 8 tackles to lead the Hornets defense. Owen Gorham and Grant Crotser both had 5 tackles. Burr Oak’s Ethan Boyles was 5 of 19 for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also had 7 carries for 53 yards. With the win Mendon is now 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the division. Burr Oak is 0-5 and 0-3.
