Union City wins Big 8 Title with 54-0 win over Quincy
(QUINCY) – Union City won a second straight Big 8 Championship as they beat host Quincy 54-0. The Chargers gained 382 yards on the night compared to 81 for Quincy. Elijah Payne threw for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns for Union City. Brendan Labar had 7 carries for 85 yards and 2 TD’s. Union City is now 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the big 8. It’s the 24th Big 8 Championship for the Chargers. Quincy is 2-4 and 2-2 in the Big 8.
