(ADRIAN) – In a battle of top four 8 Man teams, No. 4 Mendon fell to host and No. 1 Adrian Lenawee Christian 73-20. The Hornets were held to 269 yards of total offense with 258 coming on the ground. The host Cougars piled up 526 yards of offense, with 300 of that coming through the air. Jack McCaw led the running game for Mendon with 21 carries for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns. Owen Gorham had 4.5 tackles for Mendon while Dylan Cupp and McCaw each had 4 tackles. Mendon suffers their first loss of the season and are now 5-1. Lenawee Christian improves to 6-0.
