Lakeland falls to West Noble 35-34 in OT
(LIGONIER) – Four quarters wasn’t enough to decide a winner between Lakeland and West Noble. It took overtime, and it was the host Chargers who got the victory 35-34 over the Lakers in an NECC Big School Division game. Tied at 28 at the end of regulation, the Lakers scored first in the extra stanza, but didn’t convert the extra point. West Noble scored and got the PAT for the win. Brayden Holbrook was 5 of 10 for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns for Lakeland. ...... {LISTEN}. Cole Frost had 2 receptions for 81 yards and a score while Levi Cook had 2 grabs for 52 yards and a TD. Sean Conley rushed 20 times for 92 yards and a scores. Bo Kerns led the Lakeland defense with 10 tackles. Keyan Arroyo had 9.5 tackles while Drannon Miller had 7 tackles. Lakeland is now 5-2 on the season and 1-2 in the NECC Big School Division. West Noble improves to 7-0 and 4-0 in the Division.
