Centreville baseball tops Byron Center Zion in Regional semis
(DECATUR) – The Centreville baseball team took another step towards playing for a State Championship by beating Byron Center Zion 2-0 in a Division 4 Regional semifinal contest. The game was moved from Centreville H.S. to Decatur H.S. and back to 7 PM because of the threat of thunderstorms around Centreville. Ben Truckenmiller had an RBI for the Bulldogs, who now will face Kalamazoo Hackett in a Regional championship game on Saturday. Hackett beat New Buffalo 15-5 in their Regional semi-final game.
