(HARPER CREEK) – The Sturgis girls swim team finished third at the SCC Championship with 311 points. Ainsley Gump was Conference Champion for all of her individual events. She also broke the team record in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:09.69. The foursome of Gump, Brooklyn Decker, Lilly Whitehead and Katelyn Halling won the Conference Championship in the 200 freestyle relay and the 200 medley relay. Both relays also earned their State cuts.
