(MENDON) - Host Mendon rebounded following their first loss of the season and pounded Athens 79-25 in an SCAA West Division game. Coach Matt Gorham says his team came out with a purpose and great energy and defensive effort that led to transition baskets. Ryder Gorham led the way for the Hornets with 30 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. Owen Gorham added 19 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. Carter Huston chipped in with 13 points and 2 rebounds. Mendon improves to 14-1 overall and 8-0 in the SCAA West Division.
