(COLON) - Colon picked up a home girls basketball win over Bellevue 45-29 in an SCAA contest. Coach Beth Preston says the Lady Magi started a little sluggish in the first quarter but started moving the ball better and stepped up defensively in the third quarter. Raegan Thaxton had 24 points and 10 rebounds for Colon. Lily Preston added 11 points while Braelyn Thaxton chipped in with 7 points and 4 assists. Colon is now 3-10 overall.
