Gregg Reeds Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

There will be a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to benefit Gregg Reeds on Sunday, March 8th from noon until 4 p.m. at the Harvey House Restaurant in downtown Constantine. Cost is $10 per person. The meal will include spaghetti, garlic bread, mac & cheese, baked beans, and more! Raffle drawings at 4 p.m. too. Prizes include a $100 tattoo certificate, Harvey House certificate, make-up/beauty baskets, and more. Gregg is a 19 year-old Constantine H.S. graduate. During his senior year Gregg was assaulted on Prom night. The assault resulted in Gregg suffering a traumatic brain injury that has resulted in Epilepsy. Gregg experiences multiple daily seizures while sleeping, Doctors have diagnosed him as drug-resistant, meaning he can't fully control the seizures. Because of this Gregg needs an EPI monitoring device to notify his family when seizures do occur. His insurance will not cover this device, which could be the difference between life and death for him. In addition to the device he has other ongoing medical expenses and unpaid ambulance and hospital bills. Due to his disability he's not able to work, attend college, or live independently.
