(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) - One person was injured in a two vehicle crash in Cass County's Howard Township.
Sheriff Clint Roach says his deputies were called to an accident at 11:50 AM on Saturday. They determined that 76 year old Gayla Fraser of Niles was traveling west on Lake Shore Drive, attempting to cross the intersection of Huntly Road. Fraser failed to yield the right of way to oncoming southbound traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by 63 year old Valarie Green of Niles.
Green was transported to Lakeland Hospital in Niles to be treated for her injuries.
The Howard Township Fire Department and SMCAS Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
