Constantine track teams go 2-0 at SAC meet

(CONSTANTINE) - The Constantine track teams hosted a SAC meet and both the girls and boys went 2-0 on the day. The Lady Falcons beat Kalamazoo Hackett 73-64 and Martin 118-18. The Constantine girls 3200 meter relay team of Morgan Niblock, Allie Burns, Ashlynn Michalek, and Kailee Jones finished second and broke the previous school record in the 3200 meter relay, set back in 1994, by just over two seconds, finishing with a time of 10:25.56. In addition the 800 meter relay and1600 meter relay teams also finished first while Eliza VandenBerg was first in the shot put and the discus. The Constantine boys won over Kalamazoo Hackett 83-54 and beat Martin 119-18. Cooper McGee won the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles. Chase Maines was first in the shot put and the discus while the Falcons' 400 meter relay team, the 800 meter relay team and the 3200 meter relay team all finished first.
