(ALLEN COUNTY) - The Allen County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help after a pickup truck with a plow slammed into a deputy's patrol car during Saturday night's snowstorm -- and then took off.
It happened around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Wallen and Lima Roads. Investigators say an oncoming pickup turned directly into the patrol vehicle, causing major damage, before speeding away. You can watch the dash-cam video here.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored Ford F-250 or F-350 with a red plow on the front and a salt spreader in the back.
Anyone who recognizes the truck or its driver is urged to call the Sheriff's Department at 260-449-3000. Tips can remain anonymous.
