(CENTREVILLE) - The Bronson softball team won a Division 3 Regional title with a pair of wins Saturday at Centreville. The Lady Vikings beat Buchanan 4-2 in their semifinal game and then beat Kalamazoo Christian 10-9 in the Championship game. Ashlynn Harris got the pitching win in game one, and Madison Shaw was the winning pitcher in game two. Bronson coach Becky Gray says she's so proud of the way her girls came out and never gave up. She says the seniors really stepped up big. At the plate, Roni Bir had a grand slam and 5 RBI while Lydia Wells had 3 homers and 5 RBI. With the win, Bronson improves to 35-5 and will face No. 3 Ravenna Tuesday in a Quarterfinal game at Kalamazoo College.
