(CENTREVILLE) - A Three Rivers man has been found guilty on charges related to a March incident in Centreville.

St. Joseph County Prosecutor Deborah J. Davis says a Circuit Court jury found 34 year old Carson Fuller guilty of all ten felony counts filed against him.

On March 11, 2025, the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office observed Fuller operating a dirt bike in Centreville and attempted a traffic stop. Fuller fled from the deputies who pursued him through the Village. The chase ended in a residential neighborhood on Burr Oak Street when Fuller lost control of his dirt bike and crashed. A short foot chase ensued and Fuller was eventually caught and taken into custody.

During the arrest, deputies located meth, ammunition and a pistol in Fuller's possession. Due to prior felony convictions, Fuller is legally prohibited from possession firearms or ammo.

After a short period of deliberation, the jury returned guilty verdicts on all counts against Fuller; including: possession of meth; third degree fleeing and eluding a police officer; two counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer; possession of a firearm by a prohibited person; possession of ammunition by a prohibited person; carrying a concealed weapon and three counts of felony firearm (possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony).

Fuller is currently in the custody of the Michigan Department of Corrections, having entered a plea earlier this year in an unrelated case involving Larceny in a Building and Conspiracy To Commit Larceny over $20,000, related to a vehicle theft in Three Rivers in November 2024. Fuller was on bond for that case at the time of the Centreville pursuit.

Davis says Fuller is scheduled to be sentenced in January. He faces up to life in prison.
