(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) - A two vehicle collision injured the drivers.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says at 6:15 PM Friday 44 year old Nicholas Rice of Kalamazoo was driving north on Barron Lake Road near White Street in Howard Township. Deputies say Rice's vehicle hit a patch of ice and lost control, and colliding with a vehicle heading south on Barron Lake Road.
The driver of the second vehicle. 61 year old Stephen Rambeaux of Niles, was transported by the SMCAS Ambulance Service to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Rice was treated at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
