Sturgis girls beat Allegan in swimming

(STURGIS) - The Sturgis girls swim team beat visiting Allegan 88-63 in action at the Community Pool. Ainsley Gump made the D-3 state cut time and the MISCA cut time in the 200 IM at 2:21.08, along with the MISCA cut in the 100 breaststroke. Gump, along with Brooklyn Draper, Lilly Whitehead and Katelyn Halling won the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle. Halling also won the 50 freestyle and the100 freestyle while Sydney Herblet took first in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle.
