(UNION TOWNSHIP) - Drug charges have been filed against the driver of a vehicle.
According to the Branch County Sheriff's Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle just after 8:30 AM Saturday on Dunks Road near Arbogast Road in Union Township.
During the investigation, the deputy discovered suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in the recovery of suspected methamphetamine, suspected hallucinogens and drug paraphernalia. Field testing of the suspected substances produced positive results for meth and psilocybin.
The driver, a 49-year-old woman, was arrested for possession of meth and possession of hallucinogens. She is being held in he Branch County Jail.
