(INDIANAPOLIS) - Unemployment dropped around Northeast Indiana from August to September.
Data released by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development shows that LaGrange County's jobless rate went from 3.6% to 3.1%. That's the biggest drop in the area.
Elkhart County saw their jobless rate go from 4.1% to 3.7%. Steuben County dropped from 3.9% to 3.5%, while Noble County went from 3.7% to 3.4%.
DeKalb County had a decrease in unemployment from 3.4% to 3.2%.
The City of Elkhart saw their unemployment rate drop from 4.7% in August to 4.1% in September. The City of Goshen went from 4.2% to 3.7%.
Indiana's statewide unemployment rate in September was 3.5%.
