(FABIUS TOWNSHIP) – Michigan State Police are asking for the public's help as they investigate the theft of a log splitter.

The device was taken from a residence in the 12,000 block of Harder Road in Fabius Township between September 21 and September 22. The log splitter is a CountyLine model. It has a 6.5 horsepower engine with a 25 ton hydraulic cylinder and it is black and yellow.

If anyone has information about this theft, they are asked to call the State Police Post in Marshall at 269-558-0500.
