(STURGIS) – An Angola man is behind bars following his arrest at a Sturgis business.

Sturgis Police were called to the Meijer Store at 1 AM Tuesday for a retail fraud in progress. Officers made contact with the suspect outside the store. After further investigation the 28 year old man was arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of an unlawful weapon, retail fraud third and for an outstanding warrant out of Indiana.

The man is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
