(PORTER TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash sent a man to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says at 5:45 AM Friday, 21 year old Travis Brown of Three Rivers was heading west on U.S. 12 east of Baldwin Prairie Road in Porter Township.

Deputies say Brown's vehicle crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle, driven by 22 year old Rogelio Ugarte-Lusero of Elkhart. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital.

Deputies say both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. The Porter Township Ambulance And Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
