(BETHEL TOWNSHIP) – A propane truck ended up in a ditch after striking a deer Friday morning.

Michigan State Police and the Bronson Fire Department were called out to Parham Road south of Cranson Road at 6:40 AM. Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber says the truck, which as heading to Great Lakes Gladiola Farm, struck a deer, which caused a tire to drop off the side of the road. The soft soil grabbed the tire and pulled the truck into the ditch, and it flipped on its side.

Wilber says none of the propane leaked out in the accident. Emergency responders were on scene for two hours.
