ELKHART – A two vehicle crash sent three people to Elkhart General Hospital Thursday evening.

It happened around 9:30 p-m on County Road 9 at North Park Avenue.

Deputies say an SUV driven by 22-year-old Nicholas Davis of Elkhart was southbound at high speed and struck another vehicle from behind...causing both vehicles to leave the road and strike utility poles.

Davis suffered shoulder pain following the crash.

64-year-old Linda Vest of Elkhart was driving the second vehicle and suffered shoulder and back pain.

Her passenger 63-year-old Carolyn Landis of Elkhart suffered chin and abdominal injuries.
