(STURGIS) – The Sturgis City Commission took the first step to have Jerolene Street worked on in the summer of 2020.

During their meeting Wednesday, the Commission approved a task order for $85,500 for design and bid phase services on the East Jerolene utilities and road improvement project.

City Engineer Barry Cox says part of the project will include upgrading the water main on Jerolene between North Nottawa and North Lakeview Roads. ...... {LISTEN}.

Cox says they hope to have the design done and sent out for bids by March of 2020 with construction to start in May. The project should take approximately three months to complete.
