School Board Approves Elementary Wireless Project

(STURGIS) – Three more Sturgis Public School buildings will be getting updates to their wireless internet systems.

The Board of Education unanimously approved the bid by Moss Telecommunications in the amount of $125,689.26. Metzger says the project will be completed under the Federal USF or e-rate project, which means Sturgis Public Schools will only be responsible for 20% of the total cost of the e-rate eligible equipment and wiring for the project.
The District's cost would be approximately $39,290.30.
