(COLDWATER) – Multiple charges have been filed against a Sherwood man for his alleged involvement in incidents in August and October 2019.

Branch County District Court officials say that 29 year old Robert James Vasquez, Jr. was arrested Sunday following an investigation by the Michigan State Police. He is facing six charges that include two of assault less than murder.

Other charges include two counts of domestic violence along felonious assault with a dangerous weapon and interference with electronic
communication.

Vasquez was arraigned Monday, with bond set at $75,000. A preliminary examination is scheduled for January 14.
