(BURR OAK TOWNSHIP) – Three people were injured in a three vehicle accident in Burr Oak Township.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department says they were called just after 4:30 PM Monday to the area of Hackman and McKale Roads. Deputies determined that 74 year old George Jordan of Sturgis rear ended a farm tractor, driven by 32 year old Matthew Holden of Centreville. Jordan's vehicle then struck an oncoming pick up driven by 43 year old David Miller of Burr Oak.

All three drivers were treated for their injuries at the scene and then released. The men were wearing their seat belts and the airbags did deploy in all of the vehicles.

Assisting deputies were the Burr Oak Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
