Michigan State Police Searching For Fugitive

(KINDERHOOK TOWNSHIP) – Authorities are asking the public for help in their search for a man.
Michigan State Police and the Branch County Sheriff's Department attempted to arrest Jeffery Elloit Tuesday at a residence in Kinderhook Township. He was wanted on warrants out of St. Joseph County.
Elliot resisted and obstructed officers and damaged some private property when he drove through a garage door and hit a vehicle while fleeing from police.
Elloit was last seen driving a maroon, 2001 GMC pick up with a Michigan license plate number of EAN1783.
If anyone has information on Elloit or his location, they are asked to call the State Police Post in Marshall at 269-558-0500.
