(SHERMAN TOWNSHIP) – Michigan State Police are investigating the theft of several items from two sheds.
Troopers say the thefts happened in the 23,000 block of Banker Street Road sometime in the evening hours of January 24 or the early morning hours of January 25.
A large number of tools were taken from the two sheds next to the residence, along with an air compressor, a John Deere riding lawn mower, an Earthquake edger and trimmer, and other lawn equipment. The tools belonged to the victim's father and several were engraved with the initials “DE” or “RE”.
If anyone has information on these thefts, they are asked to call the State Police Post in Marshall at 269-558-0500.
