Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Listening Area
By: Mike Stiles - Wednesday, February 26, 2020

(UNDATED) – Snow could still be coming our way, but not as much as was originally forecasted.

The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect until 1 AM Thursday for St. Joseph, Branch, Cass and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan, along with LaGrange, Noble, Steuben and DeKalb Counties in Indiana.

Forecasters say we could see some patchy, blowing snow around the area this afternoon as this front continues to move off to the east, northeast. Additional snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible during the afternoon hours. It will be breezy, with gusts up to 20 MPH
possible, which could create areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Roadways are slippery around the area this morning, and could continue to be that way throughout the day. Allow for extra travel time to reach your destination and make sure there is plenty of distance between you and any vehicles in front of you.

Stay tuned and we will keep you updated to the latest weather information.
