(UNDATED) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating a pair of break ins.

Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says deputies responded to a breaking and entering March 11 at 2:28 PM at the Mill Race Storage Facility at 691 East Main Street in Centreville. The caller indicated there was approximately $150 worth of items stolen from his storage unit.

Among the missing property were several tattoo and artwork magazines in addition to Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons magazines. Also reported missing was a dragon shaped decoration table. There was damage done to the lock, as well as the storage unit's latch.

Lillywhite says the second breaking and entering happened in the 17,000 block of South River Road in Lockport Township between March 18 and March 22.

The subjects broke the window to the garage door and were able to lift the garage door. Once inside the subjects took a 21 inch Craftsman push mower, 2 David Bradley motors and 6 bucksaws.

If anyone has information on either of these crimes they are asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 269-467-9045 or St. Joseph County Central Dispatch at 269-467-4195.
