Northeast Indiana Sees More Cases Of COVID-19

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana State Department of Health says more cases of coronavirus have been reported in Northeast Indiana from Thursday to Friday.

LaGrange County has no new cases. That means the number of people with the virus remains at 36 and there have been 2 deaths.

In Noble County, 3 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, which
brings the total number of people affected in the county to 127. There have also been 14 deaths. Steuben County is reporting 2 new cases. 63 residents have now tested positive for coronavirus, and there has been 1 death.

DeKalb County has no new cases, staying at 23 people who have COVID-19. There has also been 1 death. Elkhart County has 23 new cases, which means 410 people have tested positive for coronavirus. There have been 16 residents in Elkhart County who have died from the virus. Allen County is reporting 38 new cases of COVID-19, which makes 781 people who have the virus and 58 people who have died.

Statewide, 675 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Indiana, which makes 23,146 people who have the virus. 33 more deaths have been reported, bringing the State's total to 1,328 people who have died from COVID-19.
