(UNDATED) – Fire did damage to detached garage in Coldwater Township Friday afternoon.

The Coldwater Fire Department was called out to a fire at 2:35 PM Friday to the Todd Nowicki property at 412 Fox Road. Flames and smoke were seen coming from the detached garage. Coldwater firefighters called for back up and the Quincy Fire Department responded.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in about 45 minutes. They were also able to save a nearby house on the property.

Damage estimates stand at $70,000. A cause for the fire is still under investigation.
