124 New Coronavirus Cases In NE Indiana

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Another death from coronavirus and 124 new cases have been reported in Northeast Indiana as of Thursday afternoon.

According to the Indiana State Department of Health, 8 of the new cases are in LaGrange County. There are now 420 people with the virus and 6 people who have died.

Noble County has 9 new cases of COVID-19, which makes 392 people who have tested positive and 28 people who have died. Steuben County is reporting 1 new case, bringing the total number of people that have tested positive to 113 and there have been 2 deaths.

DeKalb County has 6 new cases of coronavirus. 146 people have tested positive for the virus and there have been 4 deaths. Elkhart County has another death which makes 41 people who have died from COVID-19. In addition there were 100 new cases in Elkhart County, which makes 2,805 citizens who have the virus.

Around Indiana 523 new cases of coronavirus have been detected, which makes 43,655 people who have the virus. There were also 9 more deaths, which makes 2,394 people who have died from COVID-19.

The State Department of Health says as of Thursday, 444,252
Hoosiers have been tested for coronavirus, with 9.8 percent coming back as positive.
