(CENTREVILLE) – The St. Joseph County Intermediate School District Board Of Education is now back to five members.

On Monday, the ISD Board held interviews with five candidates to fill a vacant seat. The candidates were Cameron Bullock, Terry Conklin, Terry Cropper, Nancy Miller and Erin Nowak. Following the interviews, the Board discussed the candidates and voted unanimously to appoint Cropper.

The Board was looking to fill the seat previously held by Sarah Vollmer, who announced she was resigning her position effective June 8. She and her family are moving out of the County because of her husband's job being re-located.

Vollmer was appointed to the ISD Board of Education on October 21, 2019 to finish out the term of Mike Bosma, who had passed away earlier in the month.

Cropper was one of the four candidates that interviewed for the seat at that time. He will finish serving Bosma's term, which runs until June 30, 2021.
