(CENTREVILLE) – Kevin Brooks has received a special award.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says Brooks, a deputy with the department has been named their 2019 Employee Of The Year. Sergeant Brandon Dahl says Brooks is always positive at work, punctual, someone who can be counted on and one to always give 100 percent.
Brooks, a Vicksburg High School graduate and a veteran of the United States Army, has been with St. Joseph County for four years. During his time with the department, Brooks has held several assignments, including accident investigator; speed enforcement trainer and special response team member.
Deputy Brooks sets a great example for other members of the Sheriff's Department and will continue to set the bar high.
