(UNDATED) – A Heat Advisory has been issued for the listening area for Saturday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says a heat advisory will be in effect Saturday from 1 PM until 9 PM for St. Joseph, Branch, Cass and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan; along with LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, Elkhart, and DeKalb Counties in Indiana.

Temperatures are forecasted to be in the low 90's on Saturday, with heat index values in the mid 90's.

Remember to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air conditioned room and stay out of the sun. If you have to be outside, try to reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening and take frequent breaks.

Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible.
