(NAPPANEE) – Three people were injured in a two vehicle collision over the weekend.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 28 year old Kailey Kitson of Goshen was driving east and came to the intersection of County Road 50 and State Road 19 just north of Nappanee at 11 AM Sunday.

Kitson entered the intersection and struck a northbound automobile, driven by 22 year old Grace Spencer of Mishawaka.

Kitson complained of back pain and her passenger, 5 year old Lacey Kitson, had mouth pain. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Spencer had knee pain.

Kitson was given a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
