Two Injured In Cass County Crash

(MASON TOWNSHIP) – Two Indiana men were injured in a Southwest Michigan crash.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 65 year old Frank Rogers of Mishawaka was driving east on U.S. 12 at 11:40 Monday morning, approaching the Five Points roundabout. Rogers failed to yield at the roundabout and lost control of his vehicle, striking a sign and taking out a piece of curb.

Rogers and his passenger, 45 year old Billy Johnson of Mishawaka, were taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Both men were wearing their safety belts at the time of the crash.

Assisting deputies were the Michigan State Police and the SEPSA Ambulance and Fire Company.
