(ELKHART) – A one vehicle accident injured two people.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 26 year old Jocelyn Navarro of Goshen was driving east on Old U.S. 20 near County Road 15 just after 3 AM Sunday. Navarro went off the north side of the road, striking two trees in the yard at 23079 Old U.S. 20 before coming to a stop.

Navarro had cuts to her face and arms. Her passenger, 25 year old Ariana Contreras, had cuts to the face and also complained of pain to her right side. They were both taken by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated.
