(STURGIS) – The Sturgis Area Community Foundation is calling their 2020 Giving Tuesday event a success.
During a day long broadcast on Super Hits 99.3, WBET, the Sturgis Area Community Foundation awarded $113,885 to 33 local non profit organizations. The community was asked to send in nominations to the Foundation on who they would like to see the money go to.

In addition to it being Giving Tuesday, the Sturgis Foundation was also doing a Match Day event. People could pledge money and the Foundation would match it dollar for dollar up to the first $1,000 pledged. Richardson shares how these monies would be used. ...... {LISTEN}.
Richardson says that a total amount for Match Day will be released at a later time.
