(LAGRANGE) – The LaGrange County Health Department is scheduling appointments for people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Currently, the vaccine is available to individuals who are 80 years of age and older, along with licensed and unlicensed health care workers. Also eligible for vaccines at this time are first responders who have face to face interactions with patients or infectious material, or who work in a job that requires in person contact with the public.
If you are in one of those groups, a photo ID, proof of age, or verification of current employment as a health care worker or first responder in Indiana will be required.
Because of the limited supply of the vaccine, individuals can only be vaccinated if they meet the current guidelines and make an appointment. Appointments can be made by going on line. ...... {LISTEN}.
You can also call 211 to schedule and appointment.
