(LANSING) – Two newly elected lawmakers took their oaths of office on Wednesday.
State Representatives Steve Carra and Andrew Fink were among the men and women who were sworn in prior to the 101st Michigan Legislature beginning their session in Lansing.
Carra, a Republican from Three Rivers, will represent the 59th District, which is made up of St. Joseph County and most of Cass County.
Fink is also a Republican, and lives in Hillsdale. He represents the 58th District, which is Branch and Hillsdale Counties.
Both men are beginning their first terms after being elected in the November General Election.
