Second Arrest Made In Elkhart County Barn Fires Investigation

(ELKHART) – A second arrest has been made in relation to several barn fires in Elkhart County.

Captain Michael Culp with the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says deputies have arrested 32 year old Sherry L. Thomas of Nappanee on a preliminary charge of Arson, which is a level 4 felony, and attempted contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a level 3 felony.

A request for formal charges have been submitted

Earlier this week, deputies arrested 41 year old Joseph D. Hershberger on a charge of arson. And additional charge of attempted contributing to the delinquency of a minor has also been brought against Hershberger.
