(CENTREVILLE) – Friday was a special day for Glen Oaks Community College and for St. Joseph County.
Dr. Bryan Newton was inaugurated as the 9th President of Glen Oaks during a ceremony held on Ken Schuler Court. Several former colleagues and co-workers of Newton’s spoke to the audience, as did local individuals, such as St. Joseph County ISD Superintendent Dr. Teresa Belote, St. Joseph County United Way Executive Director Kelly Hostetler and Sturgis Bank Vice President and Sturgis City Commissioner Aaron Miller.
When he stepped to the microphone, Newton paid tribute to the previous Presidents of Glen Oaks. ...... {LISTEN}.

Newton shared that Glen Oaks will continue to strive to invest in their staff and faculty, along with the students. He says he will also continue to listen to the students and staff along with the community to make sure Glen Oaks is doing all then can not just for the school but for St. Joseph County.
