(UNDATED) - A traffic stop early Friday morning resulted in the arrest of a Michigan man with 100 grams of suspected marijuana.

Indiana State Police Trooper Cody Brown observed a white 2009 Cadillac that was traveling eastbound on the Indiana Toll Road in LaGrange County committing several traffic violations and almost hit an abandoned vehicle that was parked on the right berm of the highway. Brown stopped the Cadillac approximately four miles west of the Howe/LaGrange exit.

While speaking to the driver, 39 year old Johnathon Hulley of Sturgis, Brown smelled the odor of raw marijuana. A search of the vehicle yielded approximately 100 grams of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Hulley was arrested on preliminary misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was taken to the LaGrange County Jail.
