(MOTTVILLE TOWNSHIP) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle from Mottville Township.

Sheriff Brad Balk says a gold 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass was taken from a parking area near a park in the 10,000 block of North River Road, Sunday at 9 PM. The vehicle has an Indiana registration of VWD577. It also has a pink, heart-shaped sticker in the back window.

Witnesses say there were several white men in their early 20's that were seen in the area at the time of the theft. These possible suspects were also driving a blue Toyota passenger car and a blue Ford pickup.
