Howe Military Asking For Help
By: Tim Murray - Friday, May 24, 2019

(HOWE) - Howe Military sent a request to its supporters for assistance in cleaning up the storm damage from Thursday morning.

Dozens of large trees were uprooted, debris litters nearly every lawn and roadway, and with a power outage expected to last through Friday evening, the school anticipates the cost for rehabilitation of grounds to be greater than $30,000.

This financial burden comes at a critical time. The upcoming week’s schedule includes the last lacrosse game, Junior/Senior Prom, Memorial Day parade and family events, and the final Commencement Exercises of Howe Military Academy.

The school says any size financial gift, will directly impact the Cadets during their last week at Howe Military Academy. They said it is critical that they remove the debris and damage on campus as quickly as possible to finish the 2018-2019 academic year Howe Strong!

Gifts should be restricted for campus cleanup and can be sent to Howe Military Academy, ATTN: Development, PO Box 240, Howe, IN 4674
