No. 6 Bronson volleyball wins Parma Western Invitational

(PARMA) – The Division 3 No. 6 ranked Bronson volleyball team won the Parma Western Invitational, going 5-0 on the day. In pool play the Lady Vikings beat Ann Arbor Huron (2-0), Brooklyn Columbia Central (2-0) and Athens (2-0). In the semifinals of the Gold Bracket, Bronson beat host and No. 6 in Division 2 Parma Western 2-0 (29-25, 25-22), then in the championship they beat No. 3 in Division 4 B.C. St. Philip 2-1 (18-25, 25-22, 15-13). Meagan Lasky had 108 assists, 17 digs and 3 kills for Bronson on the day. Alanna Mayer had 12 kills, 10 blocks and 6 aces while Keona Salesman had 47 kills, 36 digs, 8 aces and 5 blocks. Skye Woodman added 13 kills and 9 blocks and Karissa Gest had 24 kills, 29 digs, 5 aces and 5 blocks.
